Functional Ware Award

At the New Zealand Potters National exhibition current showing at the Quartz Museum of Studio Ceramics in Whanganui, Royce was award the Functional Ware Award.  Royce sent a set of 4 “Neon” plates so named as the flashes of shiny glaze are reminiscent of neon signs.

NZ Potters National Tableware Award

In June Royce won  the Dish Excellence Award for his entry “A Spot of Lunch” in the National Tableware Exhibition. The goblet is in two pieces, the cone and the base.  The prize was an article in Dish magazine and it is in the latest copy of the magazine.
